NEWS: Chair of the Consortium Board & Quality in Careers Director – changes from today, 1st April 2025

After leading the Consortium’s work on the Quality in Careers Standard for over a decade as the Quality in Careers Director, Paul Anthony Chubb MBE today retired from that role and has been appointed by the Consortium as the Chair of the Board. Erica Rowell, previously a Quality in Careers Professional Adviser team member, has today been appointed as Quality in Careers Director.

Paul commented:

“I wish to thank everyone who has served on the Board these past 13+ years and all working in the Awarding Bodies which the Consortium Board licenses to assess and accredit schools and colleges under the national Quality in Careers Standard.

Congratulations to Erica on becoming Quality in Careers Director today.

I look forward to Chairing the Board as we continue to promote the added value the Quality in Careers Standard brings to schools, colleges and their pupils and students. The evidence has increasingly shown its positive impact on the knowledge, skills and confidence of young people to take control of their career pathways.”
